The 744 Campaign

Monday, August 9th, 2010

Outcast BMX had a long summer of traveling.
We had 1 truck go out of commission, four tires replaced, three trailer tires replaced, then our back up vehicle also go down for the count.
All that to say, we have some pretty big bills to pay just to stay on the road.

How Can You Help?
Outcast BMX is beginning the 744 Campaign. Selling 744 of our Outcast BMX Baseball Tee is our goal for covering close to $10,000 in repair fees. You can purchase one (or 40 million) of those t-shirts by visiting our STORE.

Since 2007, Outcast BMX has gotten to be a part of hundreds of events and partner with churches all over the US to impact the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. Your contribution to this ministry is more than just a t-shirt.

T-shirts are American Apparel 50/50 available in red, evergreen and heather gray. They are available online and at live shows.
Check out the Outcast SCHEDULE to find out when they’ll be in your neighborhood.

Today was our last day here in Avon, Indiana and we all can’t say that we aren’t bummed! This week has been awesome and the shows have been great! United FMX rode great and Brandon, Tyler and Worm killed it as usual. One really awesome thing that happened was that Brandon and Tyler both were able to share their testimonies and encourage everyone who attended the shows. Terry Russell and Willy Watts also spoke and shared their hearts.

God definitely did work at these shows and great things happened! We are very grateful to our host and how accommodating they were every day, and we definitely look forward to coming back!

The Avon, Indiana trip has been amazing so far! The venue is awesome, we have a solid group of riders, we are here with United FMX and there is a skatepark within 10 minutes of our hotel!

One thing that we are extremely thankful for on this trip is the fact that it has been smooth sailing the entire time, with the exception of my flights being canceled on my way here, although I found it to be a blessing in disguise because, for some reason, I did NOT want to fly Saturday morning! Aside from that little mess, which MeLissa so graciously took care of, things have been awesome and the team has definitely been built up and encouraged by our time together here.

We were able to run into a couple guys we met at Major Taylor Skatepark about a month ago and we invited them to come and hang out with us during our shows! One of the guys, his name is R.J., is a 16-year-old BMX prodigy whom we asked to ride in the show with us and he killed it! This kid was throwing truck drivers, tailwhips, tuck no handers and backflips like it was his first job! We have one more show tomorrow and everyone is pumped since it is a joint show with united FMX!

Sponsor

Tuesday, June 1st, 2010

Check out the new Outcast BMX sponsorship video, produced by Nashville film producer Chris Adams.

We filmed at the beginning of May on a parking garage in downtown Nashville, just a week after all the flooding and destruction. It was crazy to think that just four blocks down from our beautiful location, entire streets were still underwater.

Still, many of our regular team members were able to make it in to be a part of the day: Brandon Rizzo, Neal Heary (also part of Enemy Opposition out of Buffalo, NY), Scott Ditchfield, Frank Stewart, Brandon McGregor, Tyler Rickman, David “Worm” Borneman, and Lucas Hastay.
